Your glossary is wonderful. I'm using Indian recipes that I need to translate ingredients (from the Indian language used). I'm Australian, so many of the glossaries I've looked at have only been of partial help. And the descriptions/uses in the glossary are excellent as well. |

Great Site! Being a somewhat recent convert to the ways of both Indian Food and Cooking, I have to say I was very happy to find this site. A friend of mine was mentioning hasam and I asked after it in more detail and was pointed here for more information on that and Indian food in general. I've yet to try any of the receipes, but I certainly shall quite soon. Thank you for putting this site together. It's a great resource and very inspiring! |

I have just managed to browse through the lentils & beans section. Seems very well organised and the receipes sound just fine. I did have a basic idea of dal makhani and your receipe is just what as I had in mind. Moreover you seem to have covered most of the commonly used lentils. I am sure the other sections would be as good. |

Hi Ramona, Angie introduced me to your site, and I find it very interesting. A keen cook myself and self taught at that "With little help from my Mum", in the beginning, I have a few recipes to send you. Some my own concoctions and others from friends. BTW, I never knew "Vindaloo" had so many ingredients, and the Portugese translation means "Wine in Garlic Sauce". Maybe I can send you an alternative recipe for Vindaloo? If it suits you maybe you put on the site. Wishing you lotsa luck and assured visits from me, time permitting. Russell |

Wonderful recipes! You have done a wonderful job of putting together and clearly explaining the recipes..I used the Cabbage Salad one this evening with our Chicken casserole. The salad was delicious. I have been spending my time reviewing your site and the good recipes..Thank you for pulling all of this together. Now I know what you have been doing this past year. |

Yum! I was searching "Indian recipes" after having experienced Indian food for the first time and found your site. What a treasure! Thank you, thank you for your glossary. I was about to give up on Indian cooking because I couldn't find a translation for some of the ingredients. I will report back when I have made some of the recipes. Thanks again for a beautifully designed site. |

Message: Ramona, Well, we're back in Michigan and I finally had a few minutes to check out your website. Very Nice! I loved the pictures of India which project an image of a very sensual, vibrant and exciting place to visit. On our trip to Boston, I had shared my frustration with the limited grocery shopping that I could do in our area. The very week we arrived home I discovered several great e-commerce sources! I can't wait to order supplies and start trying your recipies. The first two that I chose are Boneless Chicken Phataphat and Sindhi dal. You'll hear from us again. Thanks for sharing your site! |

Not quite! Couldn't find the steamed rice and vegetable indo-chinese style. When's it coming? - Les |

A great boon for people who like to eat "Indian".. Took a quick look. It was too cursory a scan for me to comment, but anything I say might be considered as being biased since you are kin. Will try Kay's hot shrimp (prawn) dish soon. |

Hi Ramona! Yeeaaa at last your site can be seen (pun intended). I can't wait to dig in and learn more marvellous secrets from the Master (Mistress?) herself. Of course it's not half as good as being right there in your kitchen and having you watch over me as I burn the garlic but heck I'm really looking forward to this very much. Thanks. Hope to see you soon. Micha |
